Effective July 1, 2011, the statewide base tax rate will change from 8.25 percent to 7.25 percent.  It will be necessary to update your sales tax items in your QuickBooks company file—call Pamela if you are unsure how to do it. Also: Summer QuickBooks classes will be offered for every skill level this year.

When changes are made to the Chart of Accounts, accounts are often left out of order—which makes it confusing to find what you are looking for on the list. Learn a quick fix so you can re-sort the list.
