One-day Workshop
Legislation is changing on 1099s, and it is important to know the new requirements, deadlines, and penalties. The 1099 form is due at the beginning of the new year. This October workshop will allow you to time to prepare for new reporting requirements.
We know what to do with employees and how to process payroll, but what about the subcontractors we pay? By law, you are required to file a 1099 form for each calendar year for each vendor providing services to your business. Sometimes the income tax preparer does this, sometimes they don’t. The Queen’s bookkeepers do it for our clients, and we want to make sure everyone else knows how to do it.
Let QuickBooks handle this important year-end task for you.
In this one-day workshop, you will learn:
- How to set up vendors who receive 1099s
- How to map the accounts so QuickBooks can track how much they were paid by you
- The forms needed to get the correct information from your vendors
- How to print and submit the 1099 forms.
If you prefer to register by mail or fax, please use this downloadable registration form. You may also e-mail Pamela or call her at (415) 925-1830.
